What’s he telling him? “He doesn’t want to hear the catcalls, so he sent me out here”…

Stanek has been a major disappointment. The pen overall has just been really bad so not many options to go to.

He can’t record an out. Toss it in the fire.

I’m unsure if Stanek will even have enough value at the deadline to trade him for a tuna sandwich

It’s going to be a long season……but still promises to be entertaining.

The little general sees a chance to win this game so he hands the baseball to Rapunzel.

The protracted waterboarding session mercifully comes to an end.

To be honest, stanek has had some bad luck here. That cleanup hit was so only because for some reason weatherholt was too far over. The o -2 pitch he threw that the guy doubled down third base was actual a good pitch but too close for 0-2. The worse pitch was leaving the ball up high to ramirez. His success vs ramirez was the whole reason he was brought in there.

This lefty’s hung some nice numbers on the board so far this season. Maybe he’s due for a lousy outing.

Yes pugs it will be entertaining
Maybe those that think we are competing for a playoff spot may not find it as fun but i like it. Ill esp like it as we see some new folks make it up to the show.

Wetherholt with a 2 run HR. Hopefully this is the start of him heating up. He has been making good swing decisions but not squaring the ball up and seemed an adjustment away

OAA thinks Wetherholt and Bobby Witt Jr have been the best defensive players in baseball. If Wetherholt can be a 120 wRC+ type guy with a great glove he has All Star seasons in his future.

Herrera is so much better at challenges than Pages. Great decision to challenge there to turn it into a K

Error opens the door. I dont know why mlb fielders play tbe ball off the side, get in front of it and that dont happen. But works for us. We might win it yet.

Bling I don’t think Winn is the type who should put on a massive amount of muscle. He needs to be focused on line drives and not fishing for HRs

His young players bail him out. It’s a shame this game isn’t already in the W column.

    Pozo for MVP?

Serious note, the Cards need a FT left fielder. Velasquez seems to be out of the picture now, Torres and his .500+ OBP would be better than Ferminting and Sunday School(Church for the slow out there).

Great job by O’Brien to get out of that with a tie game still
