J.J. with a leadoff base knock and then the aforementioned star of tonight’s game (Herrera) with a single to right puts runners on the corners with nobody out. FORE…..now Burly golfs a base hit to right and this game is knotted up at 1-1…….Herrera slapped on the brakes at 2nd.

Indians 1I can’t remember the last time I saw the Cardinals execute a hit and run. I wish they’d flash that sign a little more often. I think it’s a good play whether or not it’s successful. I like aggressive baseball that demonstrates a will to place W’s up on the board.
Off the bat it looked like he hit it harder than he did. He might oughta’ see if he can get away with corkin’ his bat…
Scott sometimes appears as though he likes to hop around out there in CF. It’s good that he’s on his toes.
At the end of every inning I see that bet365 logo. Both The Mick and The Say Hey Kid got into trouble one time and I can’t even imagine what Jackson and Rose think…Place your bets fans. It’s wide open and Vito’s in control!
I wonder what happens if you don’t pay up bet365 on time on settle up day…Do they send a guy after you nicknamed “Tiny” to collect?
1T I don’t mind the Scott hop as long as he catches the ball. Seems like he wants to just make it a little more fun.
But I hate seeing all the gambling ads and the bet line updates. Sports were better when you weren’t bombarded with gambling info and only could do it in Vegas not online.

The whole sell out to gambling in big time sports gives me what they used to say in Econ classes in college, “cognitive dissonance.” It’s where your logic does not match up with what is going on.
Now I will say, the gap between the fans and non-participants wagering and participants doing so is huge. It’s not even in the same ballpark so to speak. But still – cognitive dissonance.
I could never quite understand why a guy who stood 6-6 and weighed in at 325 lbs was nicknamed, Tiny…I guess there’s a reason.
I don’t at all mind the wagering action in the NFL, NBA or even college basketball and football. Those games have obviously been predetermined for quite some time…But baseball? It’s just not right. Anyone who’s foolish enough to wager money on baseball, doesn’t like to eat.
And now the Indians have the bases loaded and nobody out her in the top of the 4th.

Ouch! Back-to-back walks and a sizzling single to left has the Indians legitimately contemplating a big inning here in the top of the 4th. Bases juiced for 33rd round pick Daniel Schnemmen…..and he singles to right plating 2……3-1 Cleveland and still nary an out.
Matthew’s never impressed me as a pitcher who was what I’d term anywhere near to being proficient at recording an out when he really needs one. Not at all unlike Matz.

She is still with me. Three months since she received a one week to live death sentence if she didn’t get a transfusion. So far that lady Vet has missed the diagnosis. Fingers are crossed she continues to snooze with me every night for a long, long time. Prayers are said every night.
