No baserunners……we want no drama….a drama-free zone if you will.

Never a doubt right? Cards get off the schneid and get the W!

Obviously a sorely needed W after yesterday’s trouncing. It was also nice to see Helsley close it out on 11 pitches. Things change in a big hurry in the game of baseball and if the Cardinals can scratch out a W tomorrow to win this series, all is forgiven for yesterday.

I am telling you people, Pozo needs to get more ABs. Maybe DH or start a little more often. But then when he is not in the lineup it is nice to have him available at a key point in a contest. So we have that going for us.

With Yohel, Pedro, Ivan, and Jimmy Crooks coming along soon, we will likely see one or two of those move on before opening day 2026. Pages might be the odd man out, or even Pozo. Losing either one will be tough, but we may have to do it.

We used 3 lefties today and won. Nice comeback off the canvas.

I had a queasy feeling throughout this game until Pozo’s potato brought soothing relief. Gotta love that guy!

Pozo has certainly been well traveled and, from the info I’m able to gather, the path of his professional career takes on the look of being a bit odd. In any case, if he continues to swing the bat and maintain anywhere near what he’s put up on the board in 157 Big League PA’s, he’ll have a happy home somehwere at the premier level of the game.

Pozo has definitely earned more at bats as has Saggese! Hopefully someone besides the fans are watching!

Pages has a draft scholarship, as do the minors catchers Mike mentioned. Gorman is a bench bat behind a broken down NTC. Pozo and Gorman are outta here. Congrats to them too.
