That one was the 2 run variety 1TD. Pages had walked earlier.

All jokes aside, I’ll always relate the Sandberg/Sutter/McGee game with a Saturday only because of the NBC Game of the Week connection.

Now Burleson with the 2 run TATER!

Burly with another 2 run HR to the same part of the field as Noot and Donny! Love to see Burly picking his bat up hitting for power.

Burly bombs one……the third 2 run homer of this glorious game. Don’t look now, but we could potentially be looking at a “call off the dogs game”.

The Cardinals are demonstrating to these Cubbies that they have to play us.

Bike: I’m surprised that you don’t know that Harry had an affair with Gussie’s pretty wife and was fired when it was devulged.

Harry was a hound! My many friend living on Dago hill on the near Southside knew all the Cardinal dirt thanks to Yogi and Joe Garagiolla’s large families!

Completely different level player if he hits for power.

Counting on our lefty bats now, with a righty on the mound. Looks like a different lineup.

I’m surprised any pitcher throws anything up to Burleson. Keep the ball down and Burleson generally hits it there. Sure, he will still get some hits. But lots of grounders to 2nd or 1B and very rarely do they ever go over the wall. He’s such a good high ball hitter though.

Nado with the lead-off base hit and now Gorman with the Cardinal’s 4th 2 run TATER!

It’s the 1st annual 2 run homer fest.

Keep ’em coming…No lead is ever safe until it’s called in to the league office in NY.

The cubbies have given up a ton of homers of late. I believe 5 last Friday(Raleigh and Garver with 2 bombs each), 6 yesterday and 4 (and counting) tonight.

No wonder the Cubbies didn’t want to play us for the first 3 months of the season.

They completed the GIDP, but Scott made it close. Man, he gets down the line in a hurry.

Crow-Armstrong thwarts our 5th two run dinger by reaching over the center field fence to rob Donny.

I know I will get roasted-but I still think Gorman is our best power prospect.

I agree that Gorman has the best power potential. I actually think he is on the right track with some improvements to his contact rates and swing decisions.
