Oli really pulling out all the tools here with Gorman and Vilade pinch hitting

Down one, and needing to flip this late and close scenario.

I’m thinking back to the toolbox for those two, Albert. Though maybe we bring Vilade out again at a later date.

Arenado’s bat speed is slooow. Seeing it live is making it concerning to me.

How in the world was no one covering a bag there. That should have been a double play bunt attempt

If the wheel is on, 1B has to stay home.

And he’s begging for misery and torment as he yields a single and a walk to start the inning……and now what’s this calamity?…..a comebacker to Leahy and he has to put the ball in his hip pocket……nobody manning a base for him to throw it to. That one could be used in some sort of comedy skit…..though it’s certainly no laughing matter for us right now.

Sac fly makes it 3-1 Texas. All 3 runners advanced 90 feet on that deep fly to center……2 outs. And that’s it for Leahy as he’s getting yanked.

He could have gotten the out at either first or second on that bunt. He just chose not to throw. Error on him in my opinion.

Also, I disagree with the forum on Fedde settling in. Balls were getting smoked left and right every inning he pitched. The only difference was that they got hit near outfielders and infielders. We more or less got lucky. He could have just as easily given up 6 runs.

Not been a great offensive day for Donny today. HH Milner sets us down in order. We’ll we get one more crack at these guys.

I did not realize that Texas was 3rd in ERA and 1st in whip on all of baseball. No wonder we’re not hitting.

Noot will take strike 3 on the black, but the leverage of that last PA requires a swing. His plate discipline is top shelf, but game context late should be the highest priority. He has room to improve there.

Matz dealing the 9th. Steven the only pitcher in all of baseball whom has not surrendered a dinger in 30+ innings of labor.

Yeah that is likely it TexasCard. Hopefully you and your family have enjoyed your trip to the ballpark.

The Cards played some sloppy baseball today and most likely get an L for it.

I think you’re right, Texas Card. 4-1 now with 2 Rangers on base with nobody out. Exit Steven Jakob Matz, whom did not do his job today.

Munoz? Yeah these 2 runs will score. I don’t know why this guy still has a 40 man spot and gets innings. Let Granillo take Munoz’s 40 man and pen spot.

I take full responsibility for the loss today. I jinxed them with me presence.

The defense has been awful today. Burleson let a single become a double. Then he didn’t catch a foul ball that a normal right fielder would have gotten. Plus the ground ball to Arenado that he normally makes the throw on. Then the bunt that Pozo throws low and Winn drops. That’s at least 3 outs this defense normally gets and didn’t. In fact, it’s been like this for about 10 days now.

Not your fault, Texas Card. This debacle was a team effort…..with maybe an assist to Rat for his complaining about our hitting and ROKU.

We didn’t bring our A game this series.
    3-3 road trip likely.

We averaging 5 hits and 1 RS per game vs the Rangers. Cooled off considerably.
