2-1 Rangers heading to the last of the 4th.
And why did this game start early???
I got up and went outside and did some trimming and weedeating. I figured I could come in and splash some soapy water on me and get cleaned up and catch first pitch. But here it is in the 4th inning already!
Din-din today will be a ribeye steak in the air fryer, a few jumbo crinkle cut french fries, some deviled eggs, and an ice cold slushy Mt. Dew. Then a chocolate shake for dessert. Then me and Whitey Herdog will be on the couch for the remainder of this one and then tune over to the Reds and Cubs. Along with a 7×50 Palma Real Presidente cigar.

We need to get deGrom the heck out of this game as we or nobody else is scoring on this guy again today.
Fedde and his 2 out difficulties today. Normally you want your players to know how many outs there are, but maybe we don’t want that with Fedde…..and just as I say this he induces a shallow fly ball out to Burly in right for out #3. We should see a 6th inning today from Mr. Fedde.
Oh great, just great! This game is one of those stupid ROKU games and I can’t get those either.

Careful you don’t overcook that ribeye, Rat…..that coupled with your lack of ROKU, will really tarnish your afternoon.
Ha will do, JJ……what’s this? A Fedde pitch count violation will send Osuna down to 1st base the easy way with 2 out. I’m sure they’ll send Osuna to 2nd…..heck they’d send a one legged Yadi to second with the way Fedde doesn’t hold em on……but a fly ball to right will fortunately end the inning with no damage incurred.
And once again this team can’t score any runs.
Why you ask?
Simple – they don’t have anybody that can hit.
I know everyone is going to throw stats at me but the stat I look at is called the scoreboard.

It’s a Roku game.
Shocked no one complained. I even forgot.
I appreciate Roku because they have the decency to air the games on MLB.tv in addition to their own streaming service. I hate Apple TV and ESPN Sunday night games with a passion because they do not air the game on MLB.tv.
Fedde did pitch much better. He could not throw strikes at first and his command looked better the 2nd half of his appearance.
DeGrom out early is a gift and maybe the Cards can squeak out a few runs at the end of this game and win the series
