I’m not entirely sure, Pugs. Not too long ago he posted a breathtaking image of a Cardinal prospect that was a sure fire, can’t miss, all time great…And the uniform she was wearing could knock it out of the park every time!
May 19, 2025 at 6:48 pm #282708Try to be sly and stealthy, Rat. Cameras are everywhere and if they capture an image of you pilfering that bucket of gravel you may have the SWAT team show up at your homestead at the first light of dawn armed with their bullhorns and black helicopters. I can hear it now…”Come on out, Rat, we’ve got you and Whitey Herdog surrounded!”…I had that happen the last time I let the inspection sticker expire on my truck!
May 19, 2025 at 7:12 pm #282711Captain Hinch? Shades of Sparky…
May 19, 2025 at 7:17 pm #282712Burly in the OF again?
May 19, 2025 at 7:21 pm #282713With Burly, Pages, Pozo on 2nd, I would like to see Scott take off from home and run the bases to see if he can catch them.
May 19, 2025 at 7:22 pm #282714Should’ve waved Burleson around with 2 outs.
May 19, 2025 at 7:23 pm #282715Yeah 1TD I would have taken the chance as well. I know Burly isn’t slow, but it is worth the risk there.
May 19, 2025 at 7:38 pm #282717That was a great catch in LF by Noot.
May 19, 2025 at 7:42 pm #282719Great start by Gray so far. His breaking ball is looking great and his pitch count is at a good 54 pitches through 4 innings. He should be able to go 6 innings unless he runs into really bad trouble.
May 19, 2025 at 7:43 pm #282720Lets call it “early and close” with an eye on a crooked number.
May 19, 2025 at 7:44 pm #282722Yeah, Albert, he’s running as soon as the pitcher goes home and that play was right in front of the baserunner rounding 2B. Then the baseball bounced a good 25 ft. away from the diving LF’er. Wave him on home. If he’s thrown out it’s still a good call to try to score the run.
May 19, 2025 at 7:48 pm #282723Burleson’s seeing it good…Where’s Shady?
May 19, 2025 at 7:50 pm #282725Yeah Burly has been hitting much better lately. And what a wild pitch. Montero fell over there
May 19, 2025 at 7:50 pm #282726Whoa!…Got a run on a WP accompanied by a backside over tea-kettle move…Haha!
May 19, 2025 at 7:52 pm #2827271TD, I looked it up and in May Burly is hitting .306/.342/.667 with 4 HRs. That slugging is exactly what we need out of Burly
May 19, 2025 at 7:53 pm #282728Victor lately has had quite a few really nice line drives that the CF makes a diving catch on.
May 19, 2025 at 7:53 pm #282729Burleson’s seeing it good…Where’s Shady?
Careful what you ask for!
May 19, 2025 at 8:00 pm #282731Gray had some really good breaking balls that inning. 67 pitches so maybe a chance to go 7.
May 19, 2025 at 8:04 pm #282732Yeah, Albert, he wasn’t producing early on, but seems to have turned the proverbial corner. He’s demonstrated in the past that he can hit. And Shady will back me up on that…Haha!
May 19, 2025 at 8:05 pm #2827333 seeing eye singles in a row. Let’s rip it open Contreras
May 19, 2025 at 8:06 pm #282734A weak GB is weak enough to avoid the man on 2nd getting thrown out and Noot scores
May 19, 2025 at 8:08 pm #282735Another one scores! Winn beat the throw home on the fielders choice
May 19, 2025 at 8:08 pm #282736More plz
A big crooked number in 5,4…May 19, 2025 at 8:09 pm #282737Montero has to be upset. He has got 6 ground balls this inning with 3 of them being weakly hit, but he has given up 3 runs this inning so far.
May 19, 2025 at 8:10 pm #282738This getting fun…4-0 with a runner at 3B and 1 out.
