Fantastic! I, with Brian’s blessings, hereby anoint Carter Ulysses Le Grand, as the official Cardinal Nation photographer.
As Sandy Kominsky once said, “it’s good to have goals”. I think one goal our Cardinals should have right now is to get to .500 on the road. It’ll take a bit, but once there, all others in our division will be looking up at us in the standings.
The Cubs are up early on the Mets. It’s 3-0 in the top of the 3rd at Shea Stadium.
And the Reds are way out in front of the Astros at Colt 45 Stadium. 10-1 in the 2nd.
I guess I will watch the Doyers and DBacks now.

If the Doyers jump out to a huge lead vs the DBacks at Hohokam Stadium, you can retire early to some rousing episodes of Mannix and Cannon, Rat.
I’m happy to have done my part by attending the first two games of the DC series. Can’t make tomorrow, though. If the streak ends, it’s on me.
Winning is fun. Winning without losing for a week or more is really fun. I hope we can finish the week with another win tomorrow.
It’s too close for comfort in NY with the Cubbies clinging to a precarious 6-5 lead over the Mets heading into the visitor half of the 9th. I have a feeling that the Cubbies are going toss this one into the fire and lose this game, but I never make predictions. Especially about the future.
