Yeah that lady looked incredibly good for 90. I can only hope I am kicking it let alone in half as good of shape as she is at 90
Libbys slider was wandering glove side and Pozo called 4 straight fastball/changes to get his hand back on top. That’s game calling.
Agree on the 90 years – if I am still around and able to take in a game in person, I will feel I have beaten the odds.
Good seeing McCuthen back with the Bucs. He never quite looked right as a Giant or Phillie.
The call will stand. I don’t even understand the point of the replay at this point as they always says stands even when it looks like the replay shows it should be over turned
Each time they challenge it is 2 minutes of time wasted and a bore. Speed up the process and be willing to over turn.
Whoa – close at second. On that play Donovan just needs to hold the glove in front of the bag and let Cruz slide into it. Trying to tag him gives the runner a little more space to get to the bag. The runner can still get to reach around, but you reduce the area they can do that by holding the glove there, and can then react to where the hand is going.
Well after 6 they get one across. I still send Libby out there to at least see if he can get a quick 7th or an out or two. Maybe the offense can push 1 or 2 across here
Agree ATM – I definitely send Libby out for thr 7th. No need to start burning through your ‘pen yet.
Libby trotting out there which is great to see. If he walks a batter or gives up a hit before getting 2 outs, take him out, but at least give him the chance this 7th
Burly does it again! I say again, because a game I saw live in Pittsburgh last summer Burly hit a rocket shot single off Skenes to drive in Siani and give us a 2-1 lead, which Helsley saved.
