Juan Soto showing bunt isn’t something I would expect or expect the manager to be happy with. Swing away if you are Soto.
May 4, 2025 at 7:10 pm #281105Someone said the ball is carrying well in Busch and I agree. That fly ball looked like a weak hack by Soto and it was on the warning track.
May 4, 2025 at 7:12 pm #281106Do you think they let McGreevy go the distance to finish the game? Seems like the best decision to me since it was a double header today and uses the pen less. No one is likely available for the game tonight with Maton, Leahy, and Helsey pitching earlier that I trust

jj-cf-stlParticipantI don’t know when his last start was
May 4, 2025 at 7:15 pm #281108Last Sunday so he should be plenty rested.
May 4, 2025 at 7:17 pm #281109
jj-cf-stlParticipantNo doubt. Don’t rock the boat? 😀
May 4, 2025 at 7:23 pm #281110Walker was gifted an extra pitch there instead of strike 3. He swings if it is a foot off the plate, but not when it catches the corner of the zone
May 4, 2025 at 7:24 pm #281111Victor smoked a 2 bagger there. Pozo looked like a turtle out there but he makes it in and the Cards take the lead 5-4
May 4, 2025 at 7:26 pm #281112
jj-cf-stlParticipantHes looking lost. So how far do they let a struugling player go, if they want a good long look? Sink or swim?
May 4, 2025 at 7:26 pm #281113Victor Scott II has 15 RBI on the season putting him 3rd on the team. Impressive since he has been batting at the bottom of the order.
May 4, 2025 at 7:28 pm #281114
jj-cf-stlParticipantI haven’t mentioned Pozo’s bat, at all, but it’s getting tempting.
May 4, 2025 at 7:28 pm #281115Yeah JJ, Walker does look lost. When he starts struggling, he really struggles. You can see it in his face he is not confident. I think with the current state of the team, you just let him have a run at it and play him every day. Try to get some confidence in the young man.
May 4, 2025 at 7:31 pm #281116Pozo going from first to home on that double from Scoot looked like a runaway barge that had broken loose from it’s mooring…
May 4, 2025 at 7:32 pm #281117Another great half inning by McGreevy. Get this man a rotation spot.
May 4, 2025 at 7:34 pm #281118Pozo going from first to home on that double from Scoot looked like a runaway barge that had broken loose from it’s mooring…
Haha 1TD. These are the type of comments we need more of in the game threads. The masses will start joining in to witness the spectacle live.

jj-cf-stlParticipantDom nailed it!
May 4, 2025 at 7:43 pm #281120
jj-cf-stlParticipantIt was tied when McG came in…
Edit- we were behind by two, so McG in line for a decision.May 4, 2025 at 7:47 pm #281121It looks like Soto and McGreevy were having a little fun banter when Soto stepped in. Cool to see the rookie McGreevy having fun out there with a future Hall of Famer.
May 4, 2025 at 7:49 pm #281122Magnificent catch by Arenado. That poor little girl looked so shocked, but I think she avoided Arenado falling right on here.
May 4, 2025 at 7:54 pm #281123Pozo with a single and later Noot with a double. Pozo is getting his exercise in today.
May 4, 2025 at 7:57 pm #281124Marmol with the correct decision and McGreevy is back out there for the 9th.
May 4, 2025 at 7:58 pm #281125Tough part of the lineup so lets see what the rookie has
May 4, 2025 at 7:58 pm #281126
jj-cf-stlParticipantMcG in for the 9th and the middle order bats.
May 4, 2025 at 8:00 pm #281127McGreevy just rang up Alonso with one right down the middle.
