jj-cf-stlParticipantDitch the slider Pozo, he has no command of it.
May 4, 2025 at 5:53 pm #281076Pallante playing with fire. Throwing meatballs for breaking stuff. Room service breaking balls according to Hernandez.
May 4, 2025 at 6:00 pm #281077
jj-cf-stlParticipantHe’s all over the place and everything is falling in.
May 4, 2025 at 6:01 pm #281078Pallante serves up a coach pitch breaking ball and Marte hits a deep single scoring 2.
3-2 Mets
May 4, 2025 at 6:05 pm #281079Mets tried to give the Cardinals an out but they didn’t take advantage of it. RBI single on the next pitch. 4-2 now
May 4, 2025 at 6:19 pm #281081Pallante looked way too hittable in that 3rd inning. Thankfully the Mets give us at least two back to tie up the game.
May 4, 2025 at 6:23 pm #281082
jj-cf-stlParticipantWalk, walk, single, single ties it up 4-4, after three full.
Ok Andre, lets bring that .571 BA(bip) waaaay down.
May 4, 2025 at 6:27 pm #281084
jj-cf-stlParticipantOnly the 4seamer is consistent. They’ll sit on it.
May 4, 2025 at 6:29 pm #281085BABIP hasn’t went well for Pallante, but walking 3 certainly doesn’t help either. Fedde allowed way too many earlier as well.
May 4, 2025 at 6:30 pm #281086Pallante needs to use that arb money to go buy Victor Scott something nice. Great home run rob. Scott is a very exciting player to watch and looks to be the CF of the future for the Cards
May 4, 2025 at 6:31 pm #281087Way to haul that ball in Victor!
May 4, 2025 at 6:32 pm #281088
jj-cf-stlParticipantThey were trying out a new sinker early, per Rooney. Pozo had to abandon it.
May 4, 2025 at 6:34 pm #281090
jj-cf-stlParticipantGood pull. Those weren’t even good BP pitches unless a mistake wanders down central.
May 4, 2025 at 6:34 pm #281091Real nice play from Scott in CF. The baseball sure has been carrying at Busch so far this season.
May 4, 2025 at 6:35 pm #281092Early results on that new sinker don’t seem good JJ.
McGreevy coming in. Tough situation with base loaded and 1 out, but hopefully he can get out of this without allowing a run. Agree with the call to get Pallante out of there for sure.
May 4, 2025 at 6:36 pm #281093I think Brad’s favorite way to describe a player is unflappable.
May 4, 2025 at 6:37 pm #281095May I just say what a beautiful series of pitches that was from McGreevy to Vientos. He spotted all 3 of those absolutely perfectly.
May 4, 2025 at 6:38 pm #281096Really hard contact but McGreevy saves Pallante. Perfect approach to Vientos. Got a little lucky that Nimmo’s was in Walker’s vicinity.
May 4, 2025 at 6:39 pm #281097McGreevy got out of it. Walker mmade a nice play. Now score some runs Redbirds!
May 4, 2025 at 6:39 pm #281098Thank you Mr. McGreevy!
May 4, 2025 at 6:45 pm #281099
jj-cf-stlParticipantWalkers guessing. Fastball down the middle for strike 3 looking.
May 4, 2025 at 6:59 pm #281100I had to step away to prep some food. What happened to Winn?
May 4, 2025 at 7:01 pm #281101
jj-cf-stlParticipant95 mph fastball K’s Lindor swinging.
McGreevey at 30 pitches, 3 K’s (should be 4).May 4, 2025 at 7:03 pm #281102
jj-cf-stlParticipantHe tripped rounding 3rd and was taken out. May have spiked himself?
May 4, 2025 at 7:07 pm #281103What a way to get hurt. Hopefully it is something just minor and he will be back in there tomorrow.
