Ditch the slider Pozo, he has no command of it.

Pallante playing with fire. Throwing meatballs for breaking stuff. Room service breaking balls according to Hernandez.

He’s all over the place and everything is falling in.

Pallante serves up a coach pitch breaking ball and Marte hits a deep single scoring 2.

    3-2 Mets

Mets tried to give the Cardinals an out but they didn’t take advantage of it. RBI single on the next pitch. 4-2 now

Pallante looked way too hittable in that 3rd inning. Thankfully the Mets give us at least two back to tie up the game.

Walk, walk, single, single ties it up 4-4, after three full.

Ok Andre, lets bring that .571 BA(bip) waaaay down.

Only the 4seamer is consistent. They’ll sit on it.

BABIP hasn’t went well for Pallante, but walking 3 certainly doesn’t help either. Fedde allowed way too many earlier as well.

Pallante needs to use that arb money to go buy Victor Scott something nice. Great home run rob. Scott is a very exciting player to watch and looks to be the CF of the future for the Cards

Way to haul that ball in Victor!

They were trying out a new sinker early, per Rooney. Pozo had to abandon it.

Good pull. Those weren’t even good BP pitches unless a mistake wanders down central.

Real nice play from Scott in CF. The baseball sure has been carrying at Busch so far this season.

Early results on that new sinker don’t seem good JJ.

McGreevy coming in. Tough situation with base loaded and 1 out, but hopefully he can get out of this without allowing a run. Agree with the call to get Pallante out of there for sure.

I think Brad’s favorite way to describe a player is unflappable.

May I just say what a beautiful series of pitches that was from McGreevy to Vientos. He spotted all 3 of those absolutely perfectly.

Really hard contact but McGreevy saves Pallante. Perfect approach to Vientos. Got a little lucky that Nimmo’s was in Walker’s vicinity.

Walkers guessing. Fastball down the middle for strike 3 looking.

I had to step away to prep some food. What happened to Winn?

95 mph fastball K’s Lindor swinging.
    McGreevey at 30 pitches, 3 K’s (should be 4).

He tripped rounding 3rd and was taken out. May have spiked himself?

What a way to get hurt. Hopefully it is something just minor and he will be back in there tomorrow.
