Little Eddie just tatered-up for his 7th HR to stake the Dodgers to a 1-0 lead over Texas. He’s going to be summoned for a random testing immediately following tonight’s game…Haha!

KeepComingBackParticipantLots of difference in being a star in 3a and hitting in the bigs.
April 18, 2025 at 7:27 pm #279786Luckenbach’s going to have generate a bit more production if he’s going stick around in the Big Leagues.
April 18, 2025 at 7:28 pm #279788You’re a mind reader, KCB.

jj-cf-stlParticipantMiles gives up an 0-2 double, followed by a triple on a hanger. 2-1 stl
April 18, 2025 at 7:29 pm #279790Tommy Two Bags became Tommy Tanks when going to LAD
April 18, 2025 at 7:29 pm #279791
jj-cf-stlParticipantTied 2-2
April 18, 2025 at 7:30 pm #279792You almost knew that Mikolas had no chance to retire Soto.
April 18, 2025 at 7:30 pm #279793
jj-cf-stlParticipantHome cooking for Tommy these days
April 18, 2025 at 7:30 pm #279794Well Mikolas did good to start (with luck in the 1st) and now the flood gates are probably going to open
April 18, 2025 at 7:31 pm #279795Nice play by Saggase
April 18, 2025 at 7:32 pm #279796Miklolas yet again not even through 5 innings. May as well change his role on the roster to opener
April 18, 2025 at 7:33 pm #279797I wouldn’t have left in in either though. 3rd time through the order and Mikolas lack of any put away pitches leads to him really getting punished 3rd time through
April 18, 2025 at 7:33 pm #279798
KeepComingBackParticipantSaggesse has the look.
April 18, 2025 at 7:37 pm #279799Yeah, he looks determined to not miss his chance.
April 18, 2025 at 7:37 pm #279800Mikolas unable to get through five and now we have Ollie’s shaky bullpen parade. We will see how this goes. Hopefully the offense makes it a moot point and racks up another half dozen tallies over the last four.
April 18, 2025 at 7:37 pm #279801
KeepComingBackParticipantWe have 2 guys on this roster who can’t do anything but hit and they can’t hit. That’s not good.
April 18, 2025 at 7:38 pm #279802Citi Field does not seem like a pleasant place to watch a ball game. There are so many loud planes constantly flying over
April 18, 2025 at 7:40 pm #279803
jj-cf-stlParticipantThere’s our leadoff double by Willson to start the 6th and Nado singles him in. Where’s the triple?
3-2 stlApril 18, 2025 at 7:41 pm #279804I can remember games broadcast on radio and TV from Shea in which you couldn’t hear the audio portion of the broadcast during a take-off or approach of an airliner. It was brutal
April 18, 2025 at 7:43 pm #279805
KeepComingBackParticipantYea Dom those were the bad old days!
April 18, 2025 at 7:50 pm #279806King for 1 batter and that is it?
April 18, 2025 at 7:51 pm #279807They must have figured out a way to filter out a little of that jet noise on the broadcasts because it seemed worse in the 70’s and 80’s than it did later on at old Shea. At one time it almost seemed like your home TV screen would rattle from the noise of those jet engines. I can’t imagine how bad it must have been to be a fan with a seat. And obviously day games were the worst as a result of considerably more air traffic. It was no joke.
April 18, 2025 at 7:53 pm #279808Crazy to think it was worse than it is now over the air. And yeah I imagine in person it is much worse to deal with.
April 18, 2025 at 7:53 pm #279809
jj-cf-stlParticipantVientos homers again (Leahy).
