The odds of the Mets having at least five runs through the first four innings are…..what?

    Even?

    FYI here,
The Doppler Radar shows nothing in the New York area. This game should be played with no delays. Unless there is a delay to help Mikolas off the field after he gets pounded early.

The Cubs lead Arizona 7-1 early in the game today.

Then Arizona lead the Cubs 11-7 in the 8th.

Then the Cubs hit 3 homeruns in the last of the 8th and won 13-11.

One of those homeruns in the Cub 8th was our old buddy Carson Kelly.

Are we anchored to .500? Couple above, couple below, needs a win streak.

This one looks like a loss, but you never know. When you think you have baseball figured out, it changes. I learned that the hard way back as a kid when Bob Gibson was the losing pitcher in a game seven – the 1968 World Series. Did not think that was possible.

Cardinals get another chance to surface at .500 tonight. They haven’t been above sea level since April 4th when their W/L record stood at 4-3.

    Shouldn’t Siani be hitting cleanup?

Donovan’s trying to get reputation as a player who can hit. He just passed Judge for the Big League lead with 29 base hits.

After I praised the Mets sharp uni’s last night and how they did the right thing in ditching those black jersey and hats they wore in the early 2000s, they come back tonight with the crappy look.

Ron Swoboda, Cleon Jones, and the spirit of Casey Stengel must be laughing silly seeing those.

Yeah, those three may be laughing, but Seaver’s going high and tight when he sees them.

Siani in there against this lefy illustrates the ingenious manner in which this roster was constructed…All jokes aside, why isn’t the Nootz in there?

Wouldn’t it be better to place one on a T and allow Alonso put it out of play that to BB the lead-off man after being staked to a 2-0 lead?
