    Two errors on one play?
Sometimes it’s better just having the radio broadcast.

Wow – talk about a fragile psyche. You know, I dont like a single starting pitcher we have. Not one

Gray is shot and all the others are #4 or #5 guys at best.

    Really disgusting.

    Liberatore is clearly weak mentally.

    Good Lord.

Pozo needs to drop at least 30 pounds.

Wow is he really the best we have?

I know others have said this but good grief offensively we are absolutely horrible.

Of course the pitching isn’t good either …

I think the only thing we do well is damage out all you can eat buffets. Definitely some all-star appetites on the roster.

Well the wheels fell off the bus there. I mean Libby didn’t get out of the jam, but he still looks like at least a #3 pitcher to me

I do get sick of the toxic positivity of our announcers. Brad Thompson is the worst but Chip isn’t far behind. They are afraid to be the least bit critical….

I guess he can be a #3 for a bad team – sure I’ll give him that. I don’t think he is on a good team though…

I’m of the basic mindset expressed by ZTR in the sense that I’ve always thought that a pitcher should possess the sort of mentality that dictates he has the ability to dial up a little extra focus and concentration needed to work around an E to not only eliminate the unearned run, but to also pick up his teammate that committed the Das Boot. A first rate pitcher consistently demonstrates the ability to do so. Others remind me of the song recorded by Patsy Cline in the sense that they, “Fall to Pieces”…

    8-17 in July.

    Look like 0-1 in August.

52 games to go – I bet we finish the season 6-8 games under ,500. Just a slow fade to 2025 baseball oblivion….

We’re not allowed a top 10 pick either are we? All the stink and none of the benefits, lol.

I can’t really blame Marmol and I don’t think he’s done a horrible job but why does he always have that little smirk on his face?

It’s like he farted on the elevator just as he’s stepping out…

Looks like we have some guys that can pitch well with no pressure at 3-4 runs behind. The true test is can you pitch in a one or two run game.

Do we have the worst record in baseball the past 4-5 weeks? Seems like it.

Winn picks up our 2nd hit of the game here on the 8th inning. Lol

In regards to Pozo, I’ve seen quite a bit of chatter related to his ability to swing the bat. I’m a little reluctant to declare him a skilled hitter. I mean, he’s 28 years old and has yet to step into a Big League batter’s box 200 times. In light of the Redbird rotation woes, every time I see him stand in for a PA, I think maybe it would be a good idea to try to convert him into a pitcher. A Bartolo Colon type guy…

    1st and 3rd – nobody out.

Can the Cardinals score a run here?

No, they can’t Walker Ks and the Pillsbury dough boy hits into a double play.

You can’t make this stuff up.

If Gorman makes a better throw to 1B, or if Contreras catches Gorman’s wide throw, the score is still 1-1. And as per comments above, if Liberatore doesn’t buckle, the score is still 1-1.

Look at that crowd in SD. Now think about the ghost town Busch Stadium has become.

At this point – Is there even a single thing this organization does well?

    I can’t think of a thing.

    Is his ERA really 11+?

One run through eight innings tonight.

    Anybody know why?

    BDW,
Surely you will at least try and find us a bat this off-season.

    4-1 SD after 8.

So, we have scored 1 run in the last 3 games?
