    Back to the game.

I think it’s a given that if Contreras gets hit by a pitch in this series that Machado is going to get hit as well.

It makes sense that BDW would find a POBO who knows how not to sign a big long term contract. I think he has had enough of that.

Well, the Boston Globe doesn’t sound nearly as appealing as those roast beef sandwiches offered up by our own humble and down to earth Willie Jr…And I’ll just take a wild guess and bet that Willie Jr. knows how to budget his hard earned money a lot better than that John Henry guy. I’d also say Willie Jr. even has one of those fancy high yield savings accounts…He seems like the kind of guy who doubles up on a dime. No telling how profitable he is, but I’ll bet his spawn knows…

I think the league dislikes Willson very much, lol.

Whether or not he was a deserving target, Machado was very often victimized by the not so subtle HBP early in his career as a very young player when he was an Oriole and he understandably grew weary of it. And the chin high and tight offering was commonplace to the young Manny. It happened all the time. Many opposing teams simply didn’t seem to care for Manny too much. He’s far from my favorite baseball player, but I’ll give him plenty of credit in regards to the manner in which he demonstrated his displeasure at being a target. In more than one instance of being drilled by a baseball, he never pointed or chirped towards the mound or the opposing dugout. Instead, he took care of it. He simply exited the batter’s box and went straight out to the mound and blasted the pitcher that drilled him with a formidable right cross. That baseball hurts. Why play around with second rate theatrics?

    That is a horrible lineup.

    Construction wise.

Who in the world is making out our lineups???

It’s obviously nobody with a brain.

No, it is not a horrible line-up. Do you have a brain?

Well Rat, you have to admit that it doesn’t matter since we don’t have anyone who can hit.

Nevertheless, we will probably light up that Pivetta chump.

What would you do with what we have?

Back to back starts for Pozo with a day off in between. Is Pages sick?

Rat you’re going to have to take some deep breaths for at least the next couple of months. Maybe longer. This is what they’re rolling with. I doubt Arenado comes back. As if that would help.

What happens in our scrimmages with the lineup full of hitters that can’t hit and pitchers that can’t pitch?

You know if just one guy would homer, the rest of the guys just might remember what that’s like.

At least Liberatore is pitching well so maybe he can keep them in it.

Haha JJ I knew you loved Dr. Pozo with anyone really. Pozo has been giving himself a shot to be the backup catcher next year over Pages in my opinion.

I wouldn’t mind winning a low scoring game, but pile on if you must boys.
