Not a fan of going to King here. I realize there are no other options other than stay with Pallante, but that’s what I’d do. Ugh.
Need to get through this inning with that one run lead, then bring Helmsley in to atone for last night.
Muncy’s bat flip was annoying. Let’s come right back and hit these guys with a couple runs of our own in the 9th.
Good teams win games they shouldn’t…and bad teams lose games they have in the bag. Up 4-0, you simply cannot cough up this game. Hack, hack, here we go again.
But King pitched yesterday for Memphis and frankly, he doesn’t have that good of stuff – especially against the kind of quality hitters the Dodgers put out there. Frustrating.
That certainly was deflating. When Gorman struck out with the bases full of gift runners it was a bad omen.
Goldy, Gorman, Arenado down 1-2-3 top of the ninth. Not good. Looks like they kind of gave up at the end.
Leading 4 – 2, they got a good inning out of Pallante, moving them cloer to a win, but they couldn’t leave well enough alone.
Marmol is not a good manager. He will most likely never figure this out. How many times did you see this same thing last year? Sad.
