The fanbase became impatient, but Bloom didn’t. He kept doing his job in a disciplined manner. I like that in leadership. Pick a path a stubbornly see it thru will benefit the orgs direction ahead.
Brian if circumstances can be such that a guy who has only been able to stay on the mound for barely 100 innings in 5 years since high school can be a top 10 prospect I think we can call that a haul. I do want to clarify I am not just pointing at others here. I also have Clarke among my top handful of pitching prospects due to a lack of high end talent. In that sense, sure, we have a good bit of smoke and mirrors so it could be called a meaningful addition. And I believe at least one of them is on his feet at this moment.
