Doesn’t sound good for acquiring an outfield bat upgrade, but does sound good for our young outfielders getting playing time. Appears “improve the lineup” will have to come from within.
Agreed, but that is the same signal they’ve been sending all winter. Team officials have never even hinted they were going to be looking at outfielders. Right after the playoffs, I asked Mo point blank and he said he would not answer my question. The self-imposed payroll limitations are real – as is the fear of another Arozarena.
