Lin is intriguing with the height and lanky build. At PB in 2024 he went a long stretch throwing 80+ pitches, so he has that capacity, but never reached it this past year. He is about to turn 24 so he’s not a kid and should be at physical peak. We’ll see how next year goes. Hopefully he emerges as Springfield’s Friday night starter, and in due time follow this year’s AA starters who will be in Memphis this coming spring. I think I recall that he doesn’t have the kind of over the top downhill one would like given his height.

It would appear that Honeyman’s hit by pitch a few days ago resulted in an injury bad enough to keep him out of the lineup for several days. Has anyone seen any reports from Arizona?

Honeyman is snakebit when it comes to the injuries. He just cannot stay healthy enough to get into any kind of rhythm.

I’m sure there are other programs like it out there, just maybe not as well known, but is an organization allowed to pay for something like driveline? For example, if they wanted to get Mathews velocity back up, could the Cards pay for him to go there if he agreed of course?
