It’s all over the place ZTR. I would say AA is the most consistent, but there are players from every level but Rookie level I think. In general, hitters seem to have the advantage over pitchers. I’m not certain if that’s because pitchers are generally from lower levels and hitters are typically more advanced, but that’s what I would suspect.

Saggese is putting on enough of a show to influence MoBloom’s planning if they are so inclined. The level of competition needs to be kept in mind, though.
Saggese would be a good utility guy on a MLB team going through a reset and looking to get younger. Much better than Brandon Crawford.
Right, my thinking is Saggese on the roster frees up Donovan from UT/backup duty so you can write him in as an everyday starter at a set position. 2B or LF probably, 3B possibly. Including giving Winn a day off. Or a week off to shake off a booboo.

I totally agree KCB. If they are able to move Arenado I would like to see Gorman at 3B, Donovan at 2B, and Saggese as the super sub.
Donovan would still be my “super sub”, but also my primary 2B. Gorman at 3B, Donovan at 2B most days. Need a sub somewhere else Donovan moves there and Saggese plays 2B. vs LHP Donovan might be the 3B and Saggese at 2B most of the time anyway. All saying Arenodo is moved of course. But Saggese has the ability to play some SS or 3B if needed. What Ive seen of him his range is above average, his arm is good but not anything special, but his hands are probably average at best, especially to play SS or 3B regularly, meaning 2B should be his primary position.
You have to consider the likelihood that whoever plays second in 2025 is just holding JJ Wetherholts place. The competitìon is really for 3rd base.
We shouldn’t get too far ahead of ourselves, especially with the murky regime changeover in progress. Nothin says there will be a competition for 3B. Arenado could still be there. Nothing says there will be a competition for 2B. Saggese could just replace Crawford. If Gorman returns it will be him at 2B, if not then Donovan.
Everyone has a Winn/Wetherholt middle infield chiseled in for the not too distant future. We’ll see. Winn is the best thing to come out of the system as to position players, but there has been a problem with guys who show up looking good and then sort of fading. Win put up a 102 OPS+ last year, so it wouldn’t take much of a fade to become a problem. The erratic arm could be a problem sans Goldschmidt. So we have to see what that looks like as 2025 unfolds. Wetherholdt will be caught in the middle of the PD reset. As of now his offense looks like heavy OBP, light SLG, and we have no idea what a Bloom led PD will do with that. So again we wait and see.
I’m not assuming they can move Arenado or will even try but I sure hope they do. A rebuilding team has little use for a 34 year old, $27M, singles hitter.
Saggese’s issue is that he’s had no to slight platoon splits in his minors career. A little better vs lefties this year, better against righties last year, slightly better against righties in 2022 and slightly better against lefties in 2021. So he’s not a natural platoon partner in our heavy lefty lineup. On the plus side, he can sort of fill in for anyone.
I don’t know how much change can or will happen with the ML roster this winter. I hope we can move away from guys who need to be platooned. I hope we can move away from guys whose presence on the roster only works if they can get a substantial amount of DH turns.
