I don’t think he’d be silly enough to mock Don Vito, Euro. Fredo maybe, but not Vito…

Watching on Thursday Night BB with Chicago Broadcast. They saw DeJong has a thing for homers at Wrigley Field. Showed the flags early looked like no wind. Hope Matz gets a win tonight-he deserves it.

Speaking of mocking a Don, we all saw what happened to Kline when he mocked Don Tony…Haha!

Nootbaar skillfully played the disappearing ball trick on himself.

Whats with our guys losing the ball tonight? Someone messing with the lights?

Whoah that one hit him square. Way hes been fielding surprising they’re leaving him in.

Wisdom gets doinked in the cranium. Looks o.k., we don’t want to see anyone hurt, but hope it’s not a rallying point for the Cubs.

If LaRussa was still our manager Leahy would already be on the road back to Memphis. He hated throwing above the shoulders.

Can anyone catch a freaking fly ball tonight?

Combination of lights and wind is really playing a number on our defense. Weird night.

Leahy loads ‘em up. Time to pull him!

Don’t know, Wooster, but early in the game I saw Burly shading his eyes with his hand while he was merely looking over towards Matz on the mound coming set while he was situated at the 1B bag while holding the baserunner on. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that before, so evidently there’s an unusual amount of excess glare coming from somewhere.

Leahy has not been impressive since coming up. I see Memphis in his near future.

No matter what beating the Cubs is always fun.

    Matz gets a win.

    Hell has truly frozen over……

Gorman with a nice play at second.

Gorman looked like Robbie Alomar on that play.

If they hold on and make it 6 in a row, they deserve plenty of accolades for not packing it in. Almost everyone detests a quitter.

They might force the front office to reconsider selling at the deadline although I still think it is the right thing to do.

JoJo pitching like a man on fire, but his career numbers are not good. Go figure. 52 appearances since 2020, no decisions, no saves, WHIP lowest this year and first year below 1.0. ERA lowest this year (2.76) career average 5.16. I want three more like him!

If we beat Cy Alcantera and Stroman back to back we should go ahead and get the guys fitted for their rings.

Yeah 4ev, I was looking at him and he’s got an odd career pitching line in the context of a bit under 55 IP’ed in 4 seasons. One season was the flu event season, so that explains a little bit, but it’s still unusual even for a BP guy to go 3 seasons and not have a solitary decision.
