If I’m a Giant’s fan I’m feeling good with a tie game. Cardinals just can’t string any hits together.
Yeah, we have a basement door that in addition to a dead bolt and door knob lock also has an old slide latch lock about 2 ft. above the floor. It’ll hang up during humid weather and I’ve asked Mrs. 1TD countless times not to latch it because it’s worthless anyway. I finally gave up and just keep an old claw hammer with one of the claws busted off of it leaning up against the wall right next to the door to beat it back while I mutter bad words…Haha!
Yea, Jnevel. Has J Mack not seen those guys pitch this year? It’s OliMo’s new way to motivate the roster. They were saying Helsley to the IL with a forearm strain, but now we know better!
Jnevel…Obviously to fix the gate after the Redbird field manager allows it to fall into disrepair…Haha!
Right through the 4 hole and even if an out’s recorded a run still scores and the runner at 2B moves up. Rarely do see that type of approach from Redbird hitters.
2 bad calls in that at bat. One went against us that was clearly a strike and then one went for us that was clearly a ball. The umpire has been a bit inconsistent all night.
Giants have a very good bullpen so the way we’re hitting this feels like it’s over. Of course it kind of felt that way before it started.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a player with a more pronounced move to get out of the way of an inside pitch than Arenado. He jumps back from a pitch just a little high and tight as though a pitcher were aiming the baseball directly at his coconut.
…..and the trainwreck of a season continues.
There is nothing about this team that gives me any reason whatsoever that they can or will turn this season around.
I’m really worried about next season too. There are so many things wrong, so many holes to fill, that it seems impossible to fix it all in a single off-season.
I also have zero faith in the owner, zero faith in the POBO & GM, zero faith in the manager and zero faith in the roster.
I am zeroed-out on this team, lol
Yeah, I’ve been keeping up with the O’s over in the AL all season, but have really begun to adopt them as my fail-safe team over the last 2 or 3 weeks. They probably won’t overtake Tampa, but I’m beginning to feel like they have a decent chance at playing in the post-season.
My guess is less than 18,000 are still at the ballpark. I’d also say it wouldn’t surprise me if less than 25,000 showed up for first pitch tomorrow.
