Yesterday, 2 or 3 innings prior to the roof falling in, I was genuinely concerned that the Cardinals couldn’t stretch out a 5-0 lead against an opponent that displayed the sort of character that battles for an entire game. Today, I strongly sense that the outcome of this game was decided in the home half of the 6th.

9 games under. My prediction is coming true. The Cardinals are really bad BUT the division is also really bad so they will stay ‘in’ the race and this will prevent the organizational changes that need to be made from happening.
