Stratton is really beginning to grow on me. He throws strikes. Even when he’s ahead in the count. He takes the ball in any situation and pitches as long as he’s needed. Sometimes he gets hit. But there’s never any drama.
Matz was just terrible. His $44 million contract is beginning to look like a DOD acquisition. Grossly inflated price for a defective product.
That’ll be all for him. Maybe the Reds BP will suffer a major mishap and give it away these last 3 innings.
