Yeah, they took 2 of 3 from HOU and shutout the Astros in both of their W’s. I didn’t see that coming.
I’ve about had it with Matz. It doesn’t matter if the error cost him, there’s no reason he makes his next turn in the rotation. Libby to start, Matz as middle relief.
Absolutely horrible. At the risk of repeating myself – we don’t have even a single reliable starting pitcher.
It’s pathetic.
Yeah, you can’t keep giving it to him every 5th day, 25. He rarely looks like he has the ability to even escape the 1st inning. Always in trouble and never seems to be able to make a pitch.
Every error we make this season costs us runs. It is uncanny.
And yeah, I’ve about given up on all our pitchers not named Miles. But Liberatore is really the only alternative until we can find a trade partner.
Burly’s had some chances the last few games. A couple last night and during that top half. He’s not looked too good on any of them.
