Was watching the Cubs this afternoon and i noticed it looks like they have lowered the virtual strike zone box about four inches, to where it’s about two inches above the belt. It looks way too low now. Same for the Cards game tonight on ESPN. And i have not been drinking. Well not that much..
1TD – as legend has it, Bernie Carbo was “BWI” at the time. Would be hard to get away with that these days!
I can only speak for myself, but those 2 runs to make it 6-1 instead of 4-1 heading into the late innings should make it a lot easier to digest my supper…
6 innings and 1 run for Miles. I’m guessing he’s done because of the ole 100 pitch rule. But either way, great result today.
Mikolas squeezed again
Just looked at the illustrator on savant after the 6th. Mikolas has no called strikes that are outside the zone. He has 8 balls that are inside the K box or touching the line.
Red Sox pitchers have 2 called strikes that were out of the zone. In fact, they were way out (both on Donovan, for some reason he gets this a lot on pitches away). They had 5 balls that are in K box or touching the line.
