    Paid - Annual

Was back in front of the tube (not sure the younger folks will understand what I mean there since televisions are not made with cathode ray tubes anymore – then again there is “YouTube”, so I guess the phrase is still somewhat common) for this one.

Good to see a win and contributions from several guys. DeJong is off to a nice start, although I am not going to say he has got his groove back yet. He never really had much of a groove to begin with.

Starting pitching is looking better – some decent starts of late.

I see my sacrificial termination worked out a whole lot better than all the positive energy. Next time I’ll just sacrifice a live chicken Pedro Serrano style.

I’d still like to see more consistent play in the outfield for Carlson. And obviously we need to get Arenado going. But the pitching is really coming together lately.

Yeah, one of those TV repairmen would have to show up to replace one of those tubes from time to time. The other day a few hours after cutting the grass Mrs. 1TD asked me to change the channel and I told her I was too tired to get up.

Good to see you back Jnevel back. I started to comment you must’ve taken the pink slip too seriously.

1td, sounds like you’re talking TVs with many tubes, so you’re going way back. I remember a couple times my Dad doing a DIY repair swapping out tubes until he’d hit jackpot and get a picture. I still remember where a couple of the TV repair shops were located.

Obviously they play better when they don’t have to stay up past their bed time.

The intricate interiors seen through the glass enclosures of those old tubes were interesting to us young kids, Euro. Especially the larger ones. My younger brother and I would always try to figure out something neat to do with those old things until we got bored and simply busted them with a hammer…Then, later on we learned how set old ping pong balls afire…Haha!

We now have a .385 win pct which equates to 62-100. If we don’t get this winning under control we will blow our chance to draft the next Mark Appel.

Well, it’s a short fight to LA, Bling, so let’s hope they’re all tucked in. Maybe Ollie can read the little tykes a nice bedtime story prior to sleepy time. “Once upon a time there was a mean and grouchy POBO”….

Speaking of LA, what’s wrong with the Dodgers? It sure ain’t Kershaw. If awards were announced tomorrow, he’d probably win his 4th CYA.

The Dodgers lost a bunch of players off last year’s team like Trea Turner, Justin Turner, Cody Bellinger, and others. They also have a couple of their best players like Walker Buehler and Gavin Lux out for the year with injury. They really didn’t add anyone big over the winter because their payroll got saddled with the dead weight of Trevor Bauer.

It was a bad offseason for the Dodgers. They aren’t near as good this year.

Yeah, looks like they lost quite a few players, gscottar. I actually checked on Bellinger the other day and at the time he seemed to be doing pretty good with the Cubs. So far, it doesn’t look like the Phillies are doing too well with the addition of Turner, but I’m guessing they’ll get better.

The Doyers will NOT win the NL West this year. They might struggle to be a wild card team.

The Dodgers still have Freeman, Betts and Muncy who currently leads the league in HR’s with 11 taters already. Plus, they have Kershaw. But the primary reason they’ll win the NLW is the addition of…Shelby Miller!

Nice to get a W today, but then I see a comment from our good friend, Bling, who points out the W/L pct. That .385 looks horrible…Haha!
