Pugs, your request for cities of residence has quieted the crowd, I am in Long Beach, CA.

It sure has, LACardFan. I thought it would be neat seeing where we game threaders live. Love your Long Beach area. Back in college at ASU, once a month, a group of us would drive over your way and hang out in Huntington Beach for the weekend. Loved the Jack In the Box right across from their big pier

Sugar Grove, PA sounds like a beautiful quaint town, Stlcard25.

And The Hammer lives right in St. Louis…..sweet!

Packy Naughton on for the Cards in a tight game. This should be interesting.

Doesn’t ASU have the hottest ladies, Pugs?

Not too shabby, LACardFan. My batting average in both AZ and CA with the ladies was right about at the Mendoza Line….. unfortunately.

Cards with 2 long loud outs here in the bottom of the 6th with NY still on top 2-0. Now Arenado gets plunked . Then Carlson strikes out yet once again to retire the side.

I don’t know which one of you has been in charge tonight, but you need to change something up. This team sucks right now.

Carlson is hitting about as well as we’d expect Matt Carpenter to so far. It’s probably the most disappointing development this year. We really needed him to be a star.

Well Bassmasters gone. Those 2 long balls last inning scared em. Just need a couple runs. Packys not afraid of those big guys in blue!

I could not agree card25. I really thought he was poised to bust out bigly this year.

The OF is now a cumulative 34 for 158 – 1 HR – 14 RBI. 9 Extra base hits. Pitiful. Only way to go is up.

Yessir, HF. I was banking on him being a a Matt Carpenter of the OF…120 OPS+, 20+ HRs, a .360+ OBP. Hopefully he’s working through it and will come back and have the year we all hope for.

Time to get them gang. Still 2-0 Mets as we enter the bottom of the 7th. Smith pitching for NY.

Bader lofts a short fly into right on a 3-1 pitch for the first out.

PDJ goes the other way and nicely slaps a single to right. That’s what he needs to do.

Knizner flies out to Marte about 3 feet shy of the track in right. Our hitting has been so lame that any ball we hit within 10 yards of the track is initially met with a loud chorus of cheers from the St. Louis faithful.

    Donovan strikes out swinging.

Crap. That hit guarantees Dejong at least six more straight starts.
