Yelich was hanging serious numbers for 4 or 5 years and then just disappeared

Got the big contract, got off the juice…typical

That BB’s not the worst thing that could have happened. Need a GB to an IF’er.

Monty doesn’t have his best stuff tonight. Hopefully he can gut it out for 5 innings and the offense gets to the Brewer bullpen.

Probably fortunate to be down by just a run. Might be one of those football scores when the final’s called in to NY.

I saw some squirrelly base running by the Brewers in the 2nd inning that ended up not mattering. When Arenado gunned down Urias at the plate, Caratini stayed at 2B, which I thought might help the Cards. The ensuing wild pitch, walk, and hit made it not matter. Then when Renfroe popped out to Edman to end the inning, Brosseau just stood on 3B and watched. I saw the 3B coach saying something to Brosseau after a second or two, but Brosseau still didn’t move. Maybe the 3B coach thought there was 1 out.

EuroDandy…He may well have, but it shouldn’t matter. Brosseau should have crossed HP before Eddie squeezed the pop up for the 3rd out.

Eddie is having a big game so far…2 for 2. Run scored, 1 RBI & 2 stolen bases.

Edman’s really been swinging the bat well lately. Nice to see him helping carry the load while Goldy and Arenado haven’t been playing as well of late.

GameCard…That’s 90 runs scored for Eddie. He’ll score more than 100 this season. Eddie’s good at crossing HP…

Would love to see Albert put one in Big Mac Land tonight.

    That would be awesome.

Now if he did it twice…. that would be Epic!!!!!!

Cubbies are giving the Mets trouble again and lead 4-0 in the 7th.

Sometimes tough for lefty to get over there to 1B. Monte was almost a little late that time.

The Brewers have played rope a dope all game and about the only relievers they have left to use are either really bad or lefties. If our bullpen can avoid throwing gas on the fire, you have to like our chances of scoring a few more runs.

Hard to believe that botched bunt wasn’t caught before it touched grass.

Naughton has struggled the last couple of outings.
