They say it takes young players awhile to make counter adjustments, once major league pitchers have a book on them. Let’s hope youngsters like Gorman and Carlson successfully make those counter adjustments.
Gorman has an above average batting line in the majors (117 wRC+) at 22 years and a few months. When he “adjusts” it really may be something. Carlson is a little older but he just doesn’t seem to impact the ball that well. A Brandon Nimmo type is probably the best we can hope for from Dylan…which is ok.
why is Nootbar doing well, and some of the other players struggling
Thank God the Yanks didn’t have Nooty on their minds instead of Bader, as the Montgomery trade was being formulated……because they could have had him.
Hype only lasts until they get to the show. After that, MiLB results don’t mean diddly.

That’s just pure savage, Pugs. But to continue with your Norman Dale line of thinking, he ran entire basketball practices without a……basketball. That’s kind of like DeJong taking an at bat without a……..bat. bling might be on to something.
