Well that was horrible. Three strikeouts by Carlson tonight isn’t getting it done. He’s been mostly horrible lately. Edman isn’t great at leadoff but at least he has some speed of he does get on.

Pugs may be on to something. If Jumbo Diaz and Jon Broxton could pitch maybe Booger could too. He couldn’t be a day over 45. The bar is low.
Yea these guys they are picking up are pretty much worthless or they wouldn’t be available. Our off season was horrible far as our front office and finding good middle relief. Combine that with an offense that is sporadic at best and it’s not good. Our guys have been able to get on but getting that big hit has been elusive. Goldy just had a homerun but we could have used that earlier with runners on. Same with other guys.
Just horrible. You can’t take a fastball third strike. Sure I know the guy had just thrown 6 sliders but you have to think fast and just fight off the sliders. Time to sit on a slider is before two strikes.

That’s just a losing AB by Bader with the bases loaded. First six pitches are all out of the strike zone, but count is 3-2 because he swings at three of them. The seventh pitch is finally in the zone and he doesn’t swing at it for called strike 3.
BHC, even Baltimore didn’t want two of those guys. Maybe the analytics department should start using that as a disqualifier. Mo has got to find some dumpsters in better neighborhoods.
