Thanks for the great PBP, Bling! I was going to call tomorrow’s game, but I think the natives are going to demand a Bling encore performance.
I do not know which is more deflating: the Cardinals inability to score more than one run in the bottom of the sixth or how the Cubs are able to score in the top of the seventh.
Top of the seventh over … Cards trail 4-2. Cards need to rattle the bats here.
I say our pitcher giving up runs right after we tied it. When you come back and tie a game up, your pitcher has to be lights out next in ing.
This is just rediculous. Our pitchers just aren’t focused enough. I’m starting to think we might need a new pitching coach. Throw strikes, number one job for a pitcher.
Now we have Webb. They keep up.pitting out a dismal effort like tonight so far and they will definitely need to be taking that walk of shame I mentioned earlier today.
Errornado’s gold glove must’ve been a product of meaningless games in Denver. Also love Schildt throwing all the worst guys in pen in first game against Cubs in a tight one. I’ve never liked schildt but he’s gotta go. He’s terrible
Mike Shildt manages to make a 1-run deficit into a 7-run deficit. His bullpen management is the same as Matheny’s. At the same time outside of Gallegos, Reyes, and Cabrera this bullpen sucks.
Yea I kind of question the guys out of the bullpen other than helsley. Mercifully we are out of inning on a good throw from outfield.
