The only problem with the robot umpire pugsley, is that it misses a lot of strikes that have a lot of movement. Ive seen plenty of pitches I knew caught the plate but we’re shown a ball so I’m not really a fan. I just think a consistent umpire is not too much to ask.
Seems an odd time to pull Waino, with two outs in the inning. But Shildt probably playing this a bit like a must-win with deGrom going tomorrow.
Why do we keep letting foul pop-ups between the third baseman and catcher drop??
And now Cabrera having his home control problems rear up again.
Arenado with the rare mistake in not getting the foul ball. Hopefully Cabrera can wiggle out of this.

Got the leadoff man on there but the K and the double play ruined that. I don’t feel good about this game tonight. Really hope the bullpen is lock down and the Cards’ bats can score a few more for comfort.
Helsley is in to replace Cabrera after the 2 out walk. He has Pillar down 0-2. He shatters the bat and it’s an easy pop out to Edman. 6-5 Cards as we stretch.
Brewers down 4-3 in Philly but they’ve loaded the bases with two out.
Cain strikes out on an attempted check swing to lose.
Edman had the two out double and Carlson got three straight fastballs after a 2-0 count. He ended up whiffing. Still 6-5.
The cards pen has done great so far. I think this is going to stay close but I’d like to see the cards change that
