It’s up to the Pen to give Waino his first Win of the season.

ParticipantThe only problem with the robot umpire pugsley, is that it misses a lot of strikes that have a lot of movement. Ive seen plenty of pitches I knew caught the plate but we’re shown a ball so I’m not really a fan. I just think a consistent umpire is not too much to ask.
May 3, 2021 at 8:49 pm #160058Seems an odd time to pull Waino, with two outs in the inning. But Shildt probably playing this a bit like a must-win with deGrom going tomorrow.

ParticipantThat can’t happen there, arenado should have went and got it.
May 3, 2021 at 8:50 pm #160060Why do we keep letting foul pop-ups between the third baseman and catcher drop??
And now Cabrera having his home control problems rear up again.

stlcard25ParticipantArenado with the rare mistake in not getting the foul ball. Hopefully Cabrera can wiggle out of this.
Walks. Trouble brewing.

stlcard25ParticipantWhew. The grounder ends the inning. Ok offense…some insurance would be nice.
May 3, 2021 at 8:54 pm #160063Cards get out of the top of the sixth without allowing a run. Need to add on here. I do not feel comfortable with a one run lead tonight.
May 3, 2021 at 8:56 pm #160064Put thy faith and trust in Cabby and thou shall be rewarded.
May 3, 2021 at 9:02 pm #160065DeJong getting well versus the NY National League club.
This Reid-Foley dude with an unusual set up getting the sign. An exaggerated crouch, then an up and down set up – or rather down and up.
May 3, 2021 at 9:04 pm #160066
stlcard25ParticipantGot the leadoff man on there but the K and the double play ruined that. I don’t feel good about this game tonight. Really hope the bullpen is lock down and the Cards’ bats can score a few more for comfort.
May 3, 2021 at 9:06 pm #160067How did O’Neill not jump on that hanger??
May 3, 2021 at 9:08 pm #160068
stlcard25ParticipantCabrera gets Conforto on the 98 mph heater.
May 3, 2021 at 9:13 pm #160069Five walks and one HBP and the Mets are not through hitting in the seventh inning? Is that right?
May 3, 2021 at 9:17 pm #160070
stlcard25ParticipantHelsley is in to replace Cabrera after the 2 out walk. He has Pillar down 0-2. He shatters the bat and it’s an easy pop out to Edman. 6-5 Cards as we stretch.
May 3, 2021 at 9:20 pm #160071Reid-Foley definitely has a unique way to come set.
May 3, 2021 at 9:21 pm #160072
stlcard25ParticipantThis Mets pitcher is getting a really wide zone. Hope our guys do as well.
May 3, 2021 at 9:24 pm #160073Brewers down 4-3 in Philly but they’ve loaded the bases with two out.
Cain strikes out on an attempted check swing to lose.
May 3, 2021 at 9:27 pm #160074
stlcard25ParticipantEdman had the two out double and Carlson got three straight fastballs after a 2-0 count. He ended up whiffing. Still 6-5.
May 3, 2021 at 9:37 pm #160075Gallegos sets down the Mets. Heading to bottom of eight with a one run lead.
May 3, 2021 at 9:38 pm #160076Reid-Foley…hmmmm, wonder if he is a big fan of ol’ Red Foley…

ParticipantThe cards pen has done great so far. I think this is going to stay close but I’d like to see the cards change that
May 3, 2021 at 9:57 pm #160078“Old Shep” an old favorite of my dear ol’ Grandpa, Wesor. Dandy of a tune!
May 3, 2021 at 10:00 pm #160080Reyes center stage to nail down his 8th save without a failure.
May 3, 2021 at 10:01 pm #160081That’s something else! The lights go out!
