Back to back hits by rookies via going to the opposite field. Did we get a new hitting coach?

Carly lines a base hit to left and that will cram the canvases with Cards for the big boppers.

Pugs I think you were right about the food truck. Somewhere I have menus we collected from assisted living places when my dad was looking for a place. Maybe I should find them and see what kind of chow old people are supposed to eat. Not anchovy pizza and food truck fare I imagine.

Unproductive out from Goldy. What the heck… I’ll call it. Nado goes deep.

I wonder if Nooty has been on 2nd before. I hope he knows which way to go if there is a hit

Our big money guys. Biggest reason this team struggles, under pressure they just buckle.

The big bangers just set up the bull pen. Big fail. I wondered at the time why Warner held up Edman. You just knew this would happen when he did that.

You feeling ok from the parmesan chicken sandwich, Bling? Getting food borne queeziness twice within days is not a welcome din-din doubleheader.

So nice to see Nootbar cleanly drive that rbi hitting it to opposite field all the way, absolutely looking and placing it where he wanted it to go. Tired of pull hitters thats all they can do.

You exchange 1 run for a pitcher who was dominating and bring in Helsley who has struggled lately. Funny thing even if you leave Garcia in to hit, you still score 1 run but most important LY…. You save your bullpen and give your team the best chance of winning with Garcia.

It was nice watching team win at stadium last night. Today went to grants farm plus a classic car place, it wasn’t worth the money though, the car place. Grants farm is great. Right now I’m watching the game at fitz grill. This place is great, has a great menu. Never been here before, I wish I had learned about this place before. Really cool street it sits on as well.

Maybe Garcia breathed on him and whatever Garcia had will be contagious and Helsley will get it

Helsley on to give em heck here in the 7th.
Bases juiced with no outs and with the meat of the order up. How do you not score? If they come back to nip us in this game……I don’t know what I’ll do? But that’s not going to happen….
Let’s all be Positive Pollys as we usher in the “W”.

2 batters in row.. no walks. Of course their concerned. That’s not like Helsley.

The Bullpen has retired 9 straight and has not walked anyone in 3 innings. Is this for real. Has that ever happened this season? I don’t think they’ve gone to a 3 ball count. Talk about a dream.. that is it and I’m living it.

Mets lost earlier so we can pull with in a half game of them in the next WC position if we hold on.

Cardinals hitters go down quickly in the 7th, just 9 pitches. That’s smart, by the way, because they want to get the pen back on the mound right away while they’re hot.

Actually just checked that, except for Yadi they bith were first and 2nd pitches. Both Sliders and both almost center of strike zone. Just got to hit them solid I guess.

I’ve noticed recently Cabrera has this squat and pose maneuver he makes after a strikeout. It reminds me of Juan Soto’s body gestures in the batter’s box I recall from their World Series season. I wonder if that’s something other Dominican players are doing, possibly to emulate Soto?

I assume you mean Fitz’s on Delmar in the loop Willie? That is a fun stretch but I haven’t been since before the pandemic.

There is a Fitz’s bar and grill at a bowling alley in south county I was at not long ago. I need to avoid bowling alley chow too I think.

Kim was rather ragged tonight but the pen has stepped up so far. I’m pretty sure it was me that’s been saying they will be fine all along.
