I’m trying but it’s not working. We should be knocking this guy around but as usual we aren’t.
This needs to be leblanc’s last inning. He’s already over 80 pitches. Hopefully he makes it through no runs
Very good outing by LeBlanc tonight. I will give Mo credit on that one. LeBlanc has been a good find and I hope they bring him back next year.
Happ was pretty good last night too. Two out of our three crusty lefties have pitched well this series.
Carpenter gets a hit to, oneil should have been at third. Would have just scored on a sac fly but because he was lagging, now it takes a two out hit.
Well oneil finally uses his speed and scores on wild pitch.
On cue, our relief bits someone with first pitch. Get these losers off the team
Nice pick by dejong on the knizner throw
Nice hit and run by Edman
Cabrera got a break on the called strikeout of Heredia. Should have been a walk. It’s not often you miss your target by 18 inches and get a call a couple inches off the plate. Then again, many plate umps are not good at what they do.
Edman with a double in the 7th. Insurance would be nice.
Nice that stretched single by Edman just turned into a run!
Nadotornado about 10 ft short!
Exactly right, Scotty. “Lucky” LeBlanc has been a Godsend….quite possibly sent straight from the heavens above a particular cornfield in eastern Iowa. Mo needs to get “Lucky” to sign on the dotted line. Congrats to Mr. LeBlanc on his soon to be, first Cardinal”W”. On a sad note, J.R. Richard has passed at age 71.
Gallegos just sucks right now. Yea he’s been money in the past but since that cubs game, he’s been rather terrible.
Whats with Galleagos? Two nights in a row hes screwed it up. Pull him now!
They bring in their closer with a runner on, this may not end well.
McLaughlin just said Gallegos leads MLB in blown saves. And he’s one of the Cards’ “reliable” arms.
Our bullpen has been one constant rolaids moment all year. We have to lead the universe in walks issued and hit batters.
Wow thats really embarassing
Everyone saying Reyes should be in the rotation next year? No.
Danny Mac is correct. He said Reyes wants to be a starter but he will never last more than four innings because of his wildness.
Reyes is pathetic tonight. Just gave the game away. He’ll never be an effective start with his lack of control. I’ve never understood that suggestion.
Honeysuckle! There goes “Lucky’s” “W” and our Bird triumph. Cabby & Hicks…..these are our ’22 closers.
Yep just what I said, this isn’t ending well.
Ball 4, ball 8, ball 12, ball 16.
This is like an NBA player missing 5 straight wide open layups.
