Edman’s speed beats that double play ball out and Carlson scores. 4-0 Cards.
On second look, the Cards as usual lose the review. Not sure how that was that obvious. The leadoff triple wasted.
Reds and Marlins both lose. And the cherry on top? Phillies lose not once…..but twice. This should be a very very prosperous evening for the St. Louis Cardinals.
Gomber has been very solid tonight. He’s getting a nice zone now too. Good to see our pitcher setting them down with 0s.

As Pugs pointed out the Reds, Marlins, and Phillies all losers tonight. And for good measure the Cubs lost too. That could be important if they fall to the third seed and we finish sixth. I like that matchup in the first round.
Outstanding job by Gomber. We have a quantity of quality starters. I sure hope Hudson doesn’t need TJ.
