Man, how many “Tyler’s” are there in MLB these days. Seems like every team has a couple of them. It’s the new “John” or “Bill”.
I agree with st25 about this home plate ump. Our pitchers have to throw the ball right down the middle to get a strike. Not helpful!!
Tyler O’Neill makes the catch for the second out, and here is Tyler Stephenson at the plate. We will see if Tyler Webb gets into this game.
Might as well just use last names and assume the first name is “Tyler”. :-). Good point though Cranny, Zack is another popular one. Takes me back to the 1840s when we had John Tyler as president, followed a little later, after James K Polk, by Zachary Taylor.
well carpenter is getting it done. Good for him, hopefully he can keep it up consistently but thats the problem for mostly everyone on the team.
I don’t think the baserunning problem can be blamed on Carp. It looked to me like Warner was waving Molina home, but Yadi stopped after he was well past the the third base bag.

I wouldnt bring carlsson back myself. We dont really have to have another outfielder plus shouldnt fowler be coming back soon.
Or Nogowski or Sosa or Schrock. With Edman a semi-regular OF, the mix changes. Shildt was asked about Williams the other day and his report was more in the middle ground. Fowler is NOT close to being ready.
