Yes indeed. Without an explosive offense it is imperative we have lockdown defense and stellar pitching. Our margin of error is low.
Cruz round tripper makes it 5-0. This lead maybe in surmountable the way the offense has looked to this point. Frustrating.
Am I the only one annoyed by this non-stop blathering of Thompson? Does he get paid by the word?
MM3 has always disliked him, and I sort of defended Thompson. It’s hard to not be annoyed by his constant interjection right up to the pitch.
How come every time we play the Twins the last few years, they look like the 61 Yankees and wee look like bums? Bottom is they aren’t that good and we aren’t that bad. I’m not saying they aren’t a good team, but sheesh.

CF nice of you to notice and Stl25 has me pegged but I have tried hard to hold my tongue. Thompson went to the Ricky Horton School of Never a Moment of Silence and I think he graduated Magna Cum Laude. I think that FSM has too many old pitchers on staff. Nice folks mind you but I have trouble accepting a pitcher’s view of how position players should do something. Anyway a bit less chatter would be nice. Jim Edmonds is my favorite but Danny can get him off track at times too.
