I feel your pain. I am a couple of hours east of you and have the same blackout. It is the main reason I buy cable tv because the local provider has FSM.

Wong makes a nice play on the grounder up the middle. Carlos will likely be done after 36 pitches that inning.

Not necessarily. Bader caught it basically on one hop and had it back in quickly. It was a nice play by him.
The difference so far…the Cards are not connecting with the fat pitches that Berrios is throwing and the Twins are fouling off or putting Martinez’s good pitches into play.
Bader went a little shallow and overran the scorched ball by Astudillo. Again, Carlos needs to bear down. The Cards could score 3 to tie. I don’t think they have 4 in them for the tie game.

The Twins and their fans must love St. Louis. First, they beat us in the ’87 Series and now that interleague play has been instituted, they beat the daylights out of us every time we meet. Our Birds look terribly defunded ….or something awful, when playing Minnesota. They literally own us lock stock & barrell. .pretty darn frustrating to say the least.
