Standing O….place going nuts for Ozuna’s first ab back in Miami….not!
Pugs, you had me on that one all the way up to the “not” at the end. Then I also realized we’re talking about Miami. Just turned on the TV and the vibrant royal blue seats are eye-catching.
I think Prado had enough time to have dinner in between catching that ball and throwing Martinez out at second. Not sure how that was even possible.
Geesh you can hear a pin drop in this park whenever Marcell strolls to the dish….not the kind of welcome that Marcell envisioned I’d guess. Unfortunately, I kind of echo their sentiments…..or lack thereof.
Martinez would’ve been safe if he not been flat footed and had a little bit of an extra lead when the ball was hit.

At least Dejong plays decent defense. I suspect he’ll get it going eventually. Hand injuries are always tricky to come back from.

Chen has allowed one hit tonight to a Cards lineup that had what seemed like a hundred hits in Pittsburgh over the weekend.

The lack of offense appears to be system wide at this point. The entire system from Johnson City up has scored a total of 2 runs so far tonight and Memphis, Palm Beach and Peoria have goose eggs on the board right now.

Yadi has taken the first pitch twice on pretty easy strikes and swung at the first pitch once way inside.
So we go on a hitting tear against Pirates pitchers, but can’t lay a finger on Chen, the guy with the 6 ERA and 1.5 whip.
