Standing O….place going nuts for Ozuna’s first ab back in Miami….not!

Pugs, you had me on that one all the way up to the “not” at the end. Then I also realized we’re talking about Miami. Just turned on the TV and the vibrant royal blue seats are eye-catching.

I think Prado had enough time to have dinner in between catching that ball and throwing Martinez out at second. Not sure how that was even possible.

Geesh you can hear a pin drop in this park whenever Marcell strolls to the dish….not the kind of welcome that Marcell envisioned I’d guess. Unfortunately, I kind of echo their sentiments…..or lack thereof.

Martinez would’ve been safe if he not been flat footed and had a little bit of an extra lead when the ball was hit.

Cy Chen is mowing the lineup down tonight. Still 1-0 Marlins.

Ha Ha! Funny, Euro! I thought I might get you going on that for a second or two. Could you picture this joint for a world series game….couldnt imagine this place teeming with rabid fans.

Starlin Castro unloads on one out to left. Marlins take the 2-0 lead.

DeJong gonna take over as the team whipping boy while Fowler’s on the DL.

See Pugs you can hit homers here. You just to throw junk up like Weaver just did and give a good ol rip.

At least Dejong plays decent defense. I suspect he’ll get it going eventually. Hand injuries are always tricky to come back from.

We need Bader patrolling cf for us. He’ll hit and learn to hit better. I want to see him play vs righthanders…lefthanders….knucklehanders….all of them. It’s not like he’s hitting Fowlerish this year anyway.

Castro sure did poke that puppy, Booyah. I wanted to see the tale of the tape on that baby…..had to have been around 430.

Cy Wei-Yin Chen sure has our hitters dazed and confused tonight. 2-0 Fish as we move to the bottom of 5.

Chen has allowed one hit tonight to a Cards lineup that had what seemed like a hundred hits in Pittsburgh over the weekend.

Looks likd the wifey is begging for my attention…..wants me to watch the final episode of The Batchelorette with her. I best go in there for a bit if I ever want to hear the word “yes” from her again this week.

The lack of offense appears to be system wide at this point. The entire system from Johnson City up has scored a total of 2 runs so far tonight and Memphis, Palm Beach and Peoria have goose eggs on the board right now.

He was playing too deep. Sierra isn’t going to launch one oppo.

He got there he just needed to close the glove.

Dang, you don’t often see Marp miss center cut pitches like that entirely.

Yadi has taken the first pitch twice on pretty easy strikes and swung at the first pitch once way inside.

Jose hasn’t hit a homer in over a month IIRC. Might be a good time to break that streak.

So we go on a hitting tear against Pirates pitchers, but can’t lay a finger on Chen, the guy with the 6 ERA and 1.5 whip.

You know how this offense rolls sometimes.
