stlcard25ParticipantLuke gives up a bloop double and bloop single and the Marlins take a 1-0 lead.
August 6, 2018 at 6:31 pm #64354The person who is being set to Memphis should get some work tonight. 5 inning Weaver has arrived.
August 6, 2018 at 6:32 pm #64355
stlcard25ParticipantWeaver trying to grab that grounder cost the Cards a double play.
August 6, 2018 at 6:33 pm #64356
stlcard25ParticipantThey get the double play just a couple pitches later though. Time to get the offense rolling.
August 6, 2018 at 6:37 pm #64359Standing O….place going nuts for Ozuna’s first ab back in Miami….not!
August 6, 2018 at 6:40 pm #64360
jj-cf-stlParticipantWhere do i know chen from? Was he a dodger?
August 6, 2018 at 6:42 pm #64361I hate the adding of Garcia. The 40 man this off season is already tight. Garcia wouldn’t have had to have been added. Should have brought up Williams or Thomas (who will be added in the off season anyway). Unless they think O’Neill will be out longer than 10 days. Then they need to seek a veteran solution anyway. (McCutchen anyone?)
August 6, 2018 at 6:42 pm #64362
stlcard25ParticipantChen pitched for Baltimore last.
August 6, 2018 at 6:43 pm #64363
stlcard25ParticipantBader hit that ball hard, and our old friend Mags Sierra showed off his wheels to run it down and make a nice play.
August 6, 2018 at 6:45 pm #64364
stlcard25ParticipantChen has two K’s, both looking…and neither were actually strikes.
August 6, 2018 at 6:45 pm #64365Catchers interference results in DeJong taking 1st on the E-2 and Marcell trotting on down to 2nd with 1 out. Then Bader absolutely smoked a Chen offering 406 feet to dead center….for the out…..Marcell to 3rd. Munoz strikes out in a very high pitch to retire the side!
August 6, 2018 at 6:48 pm #64366Mikey likey McCutcy, CC!
August 6, 2018 at 6:48 pm #64367Has the offense of suck returned?
August 6, 2018 at 6:51 pm #64368Where do i know chen from? Was he a dodger?
Lol! Not every Asian has pitched for LA or NYY. It just seems like it.
August 6, 2018 at 6:52 pm #64369If Weaver tosses a 3 pitch 3 out inning tonight, I’ll mail each and every poster who has posted on this page 2 up until this post, $1000 cashiers check each first thing tomorrow morning.
August 6, 2018 at 6:57 pm #64370
jj-cf-stlParticipantOrioles, yep. He reminds me of dodgers lefty ryu i guess.
August 6, 2018 at 6:59 pm #64371How in blazes did Stanton hit so many gosh darn dingers in this yard?????
August 6, 2018 at 7:03 pm #64372Pugs! There’s a little bit of wind blowing in I believe. You could see Weaver’s jersey moving a bot on the first 2 innings.
August 6, 2018 at 7:04 pm #64373I think my favorite Dodger foreign nationality pitcher had to have been the great Ferando Valenzuela…..remember that dude with the hat and big cigar who could always be seen behind the plate pointing that radar gun whenever Fernando pitched.

stlcard25ParticipantHow in blazes did Stanton hit so many gosh darn dingers in this yard?????
Incredible power. Still a shame that he nixed the trade to St Louis.
August 6, 2018 at 7:06 pm #64375
jj-cf-stlParticipantRattle Them Bats!
August 6, 2018 at 7:06 pm #64376Must be a fairly stiff breeze because these balls aren’t carrying worth a hoot tonight. No way we see any homers in this game.
August 6, 2018 at 7:07 pm #64377Much better 3rd inning by Weaver.
August 6, 2018 at 7:07 pm #64378
stlcard25ParticipantOpponents are hitting a Dexter Fowler-ish .209/.282/.313 off Chen at home. On the road it’s a Matt Carpenter-ian .350/.407/.663
August 6, 2018 at 7:10 pm #64379Leadoff walk to Jose….what’s not to love about that!
