Defense is just what it is and I don’t think it can be fixed in season. Keeps you from winning some games.

Does Gomber just not have any feel for his curve ball or is Yadi just refusing to call it? I don’t think I’ve seen any of them at all tonight.
Tough to win when you play a lot of innings having to get 4 outs. It’s a little like a hockey game where the other team has far more power play opportunities than your club.
I think it’s more of Molina wanting him to throw strikes because he has struggled so far at times in his short career to do so.
87 mph Cy Hendricks mows the lineup down again. I think we all have a feeling where this one’s going. I’d enjoy being surprised to wake up to something different but these games are more likely to end up 9-3 than with the Cards scoring the 4 to win.
So If Martinez was a late scratch why is he playing now?
Maybe they thought he would be traded by the end of the game and the trade fell apart?

A hobbled JMart is better defensively than a healthy Fowler. HAHAHA
