Yadi is going to crank 20 dingers this year. 10-12 years ago, I would have thought that was an impossibility. They say we guys do not reach our full raw strength peak until about age 40.

Yep, I don’t get it with the Pham AB. It looked like he was sitting on something specific on a 1-2 count. You know that couldn’t be the case though. Just a terrible approach at the plate that time. Maybe he can’t see tonight.
I wonder if his eye condition is worse for night games. I’ve never looked that one up.

It’s tough watching our guys whiff against Hendricks…he throws like a batting practice pitcher. Easier said than done, of course, but you know he’s going to throw strikes or at least very close to the plate, so when in doubt, swing.

After that first inning, it’s looking really likely that Hendricks goes at least 6 innings. Gotta gave Gant match him.
