RHP Miles Mikolas (0-2, 9.00) vs. LHP David Peterson (1-1, 2.70)
FanDuel // KMOXApril 17, 2025 at 10:39 pm #279743The odds of the Mets having at least five runs through the first four innings are…..what?
Even?
April 18, 2025 at 2:04 pm #279758FYI here,
The Doppler Radar shows nothing in the New York area. This game should be played with no delays. Unless there is a delay to help Mikolas off the field after he gets pounded early.April 18, 2025 at 2:12 pm #279760Ten count?
April 18, 2025 at 2:17 pm #279761The odds of the Mets having at least five runs through the first four innings are…..what?
Even?
Even sounds about right
April 18, 2025 at 4:32 pm #279763The Cubs lead Arizona 7-1 early in the game today.
Then Arizona lead the Cubs 11-7 in the 8th.
Then the Cubs hit 3 homeruns in the last of the 8th and won 13-11.
One of those homeruns in the Cub 8th was our old buddy Carson Kelly.

jj-cf-stlParticipantAre we anchored to .500? Couple above, couple below, needs a win streak.
April 18, 2025 at 5:47 pm #279765This one looks like a loss, but you never know. When you think you have baseball figured out, it changes. I learned that the hard way back as a kid when Bob Gibson was the losing pitcher in a game seven – the 1968 World Series. Did not think that was possible.
April 18, 2025 at 6:13 pm #279767Cardinals get another chance to surface at .500 tonight. They haven’t been above sea level since April 4th when their W/L record stood at 4-3.
April 18, 2025 at 6:16 pm #279768
jj-cf-stlParticipantScott and Baker made outs in the strike zone, Willson chased.
April 18, 2025 at 6:20 pm #279769
jj-cf-stlParticipantThere goes Miles no-hitter.
April 18, 2025 at 6:22 pm #279770Shouldn’t Siani be hitting cleanup?
April 18, 2025 at 6:28 pm #279771Donovan’s trying to get reputation as a player who can hit. He just passed Judge for the Big League lead with 29 base hits.
April 18, 2025 at 6:30 pm #279772
jj-cf-stlParticipantSaggese wearing out RF. 1st and third for Pages.
April 18, 2025 at 6:32 pm #279773
jj-cf-stlParticipantRF again (vs the lefty), Pages RB I.
1-0 stlApril 18, 2025 at 6:33 pm #279774Siani taking the Burleson approach
April 18, 2025 at 6:46 pm #279775
jj-cf-stlParticipant3 K’s for the top of the lineup, during the top of the third.
April 18, 2025 at 6:46 pm #279776After I praised the Mets sharp uni’s last night and how they did the right thing in ditching those black jersey and hats they wore in the early 2000s, they come back tonight with the crappy look.
Ron Swoboda, Cleon Jones, and the spirit of Casey Stengel must be laughing silly seeing those.
April 18, 2025 at 6:53 pm #279777Yeah, those three may be laughing, but Seaver’s going high and tight when he sees them.
April 18, 2025 at 6:53 pm #279778Nice job Liz after the leadoff walk.
April 18, 2025 at 6:59 pm #279779
jj-cf-stlParticipantWalker gets a perfect RF pitch and delivers. 2-0 stl
April 18, 2025 at 7:01 pm #279780Siani in there against this lefy illustrates the ingenious manner in which this roster was constructed…All jokes aside, why isn’t the Nootz in there?
April 18, 2025 at 7:07 pm #279781Wouldn’t it be better to place one on a T and allow Alonso put it out of play that to BB the lead-off man after being staked to a 2-0 lead?
April 18, 2025 at 7:16 pm #279782
jj-cf-stlParticipant4 scoreless for Miles using 60 pitches.
April 18, 2025 at 7:17 pm #279783I love SmellA not being in first. Go Pads.
