Ah, our old buddy Jack. Would like to send him to the showers early with 5-6 runs to think about.

Well..good thing i had front row seats for tonight too…

got yesterday’s tickets refunded…AND since i have tonight’s game tickets i get to go to both games of the double header up front (and after taking some last minute “personal time” from work)

So your old pal thejager has a long day of baseball at the park! Keep an eye out, see if i nod off 😛

add on that my Bayern Munich boys play their first leg against Real at 3, i will be double fisting Cardinals and Bayern during the first game

then I have Pacers playoffs at 930pm…

    woe is me right? 🙂

at least the game tomorrow during the day i have seats under the awning 🙂

    Go Cards!

An interesting lineup in the 1st game today. Noot in CF, Burly in RF and Herrera C and batting 9th. It should score some runs against Flaherty.

Finally the lineup that I believe we need. At least until Carlson and Edman return. Or Walker can get his hitting mojo back.

Poor Jack F. Four teams in two years and sitting at .491 ERA, his lowest ERA so far of any non-Cardinals teams. While I don’t wish ill of him, I do hope we help raise his ERA above .500 today.

I hope we clobber him; that ERA looks pretty shaky.
But to be fair, Jack has fanned 36 men while walking just 4 so far. So that mediocre ERA could be seriously misleading.

Yep, 36 vs 4 is nothing to sneeze at, Bobby. You just know Jack will be on his best behavior tonight, which could spell “t r o u b l e” for the Good Guys.
Thanks to this loveable, but terribly lazy work crew, I’m stuck down here at the salt mines until late this afternoon. But if things work out the way they were intended, I should be locked, loaded and ready to go by Game 2. Din-din tonight will be a bologna sandwich smothered in mayo, Lay’s potato chips with sour cream to dip them in, a big giant Dill pickle doused with salt and 3 Popeye’s apple cinnamon pies. Can’t wait to see Jags sitting smack dab behind home plate tonight. He’s very easy to spot. He always has an unbelievably attractive lady at his side. Hey Rat…..you’ll forget all about both Front Row Amy and Dreamboat Annie after you set your eyes on Jags’ extremely much better half today.

Looks like I’m not on the screen fellas.

    But the view is great

And Jack is dealing. Super locked in.

Yes, numbers might be misleading. But looks like Jack’s Achilles heel is 1.5 HRs per 9 innings with a WHIP over 1.0. He’s struck out 6 straight so far today. Ughhh!

Cool photo of Frisch and Cochrane. They both look like a hard slide.

Front row Amy wasn’t enough to keep me paying for cable, but I almost signed back up to see front row Jager.

Figures that Flaherty would have his best day in like ever. 12 SOs after 5.

Maybe the Cards can have the last laugh this afternoon. Gibson gives us 7 innings but leaves down 0-1.

Offense just has to do something these last two innings.

It would be a shame to waste that kind of pitching. Maybe the veteran leadership can motivate them.
