Even a terrible team will go 54-108 so, at an absolute minimum we will have 44 more Cardinal victories to celebrate this season.
If I had to put a number on the win total this season right now I will go with 81.
To accomplish this the Cards have to go 71-59 (.546) the rest of the way.

Well, sorry guys, it’s not rocket science. You are supposed to be professionals of your sport at the highest level. If you haven’t yet “figured out” what is needed to win baseball games you’ve chosen the wrong profession.
Whatever moves are made and whomever gets DFA’d, will get picked up by another team, coached properly and have a good career. Our coaches, are not good coaches; they mean well and try hard, but just don’t have the “it” factor for a coach. They are not getting the “Best” out of each player, instead they are content to put everyone in a bucket and say, ” ok, go get ’em.”.
Other teams will figure out what is best for the player, find little issues that turn out to be a big factor to make that player better.Based on a variety of events witnessed on Thursday, I wouldn’t be shocked if OF Alec Burleson is optioned to Triple-A today. It’s a fluid situation & there almost certainly will be #STLCards roster moves coming in the next few hours. Stay tuned!

Yes, Yepez is the greater of the OF evils. I guessed they’d be smart enough to limit his participation to hitting only.
Who knows, Euro? He may surprise us and make one of those Spiderman scaling the LF wall plays to rob a tater like our old friend Ozuna.
