The St. Louis Cardinals have reportedly come to terms with their 13th international free agent since the January 15 signing period began. The new addition is center fielder Yaisel Ramos. The 6-foot-4, 185-pounder left his Havana, Cuba home in 2018 and relocated to the Dominican Republic to train at the H3K Baseball Academy.
Ramos has a “plus arm, 60/80, plus raw and game power,” per Dominican journalist Francys Romero, who first reported the 19-year-old’s commitment for a $175,000 signing bonus. H3K Academy is also confirming the deal.

Likely the deal is pending background investigations and physical examinations. Until the signing is confirmed by the Cardinals organization, Ramos won’t be added to the Roster Matrix.
