Liked what I saw of Fermin yesterday. With this club in the doldrums I would play him everyday for a couple of weeks and see what he does. Which of course mean Marmol will have him on the bench tonight.
As for those trades from days gone by, I loved the Drew trade when it was made. I am always big on deals where you trade a guy for several players, especially highly rated younger guys. I did not care for the Rasmus trade, but “Scrabble” and Dotel really helped us in 2011 and that post season so it worked out well. Colby had some success but never reached the potential forecasted of him.
