Good thoughts GH. I like the Braves approach. They develop good pitching, and make bold moves to acquire good players that they sign to longer term deals.
They have a lot of financial resources being under the Liberty Media umbrella, a company i worked for for many years by the way. But they tend to not overspend. They are kind of like a financially smart household in they live within their means.
But for any organization that is not getting huge media revenues, there is some luck involved. We would be looking a lot better if Jordan Walker was playing like Juan Soto did at his age. Or even had he been a little better than last year. But then Mason Winn has helped a lot, and is a big reason we are not well under .500.
