Thanks rats, goldy was big-time today. I think overall you have to give goldy the Cardinals mvp far as non pitchers go. Arenado may end up with better numbers but not by much and I just think goldy deserves it. You could say oneil but that would be more cause it wasn’t expected. I figured oneil would do well this year but not thirty home run well.
Nice come back, been busy at work and checked when we were down 5-1 and was like go figure the last pitcher we would think would end the streak was out best of the year…but great job by the pen and the offense coming back for the win!
On a sour note…….O’Neill was 0-5 today with three strikeouts.
This afternoon game means I’ll watch the Nationals/Reds game tonight. Then after that probably watch an episode of Perry Mason before me and Whitey Herdog hit the hay.

As crazy it sounds this team is starting to have that 2011 feel to it. Struggle all year, make a few under the radar moves, then get red hot at the end of the year.
In 2011 we picked up Edwin Jackson, Marc Rzepczynski, Octavio Dotel ,and Rafael Furcal and took off.
This year it is LeBlanc, Lester, Happ, McFarland, and Garcia.None of the names are really blockbusters but they sure did the trick. I don’t know if this year will end like 2011, that would be a tall order, but the fact that it is even remotely possible is amazing. Baseball can be a crazy game sometimes.
