Camera panned down the Cards dugout…. Long faces all the way down…. will be tough to come back in this game… if we don’t change our attitude.

Waino and the rest did well to buckle down and keep it a game after that disastrous 1rst inning.

I wonder if the Pirates/Reds game that was rained out yesterday is going to be made up?

That game is going to be made up on Monday.

Goldy is making his case for Cardinal MVP this year.

I would imagine Waino and Arenado would get consideration also.

Had to work. Was disappointed when I looked on phone to see waino had given up 4 in first. Glad to see the team pick him up. Hopefully we can finish this out. Goldy and Carlson having a real good day. Bullpen as well so far.

Man… would love to capture that recording of Burnes in the dugout on hot mic… saying…
“they’ve won a few”….. then put it beside a 4-0 Cardinal Sweep of the Brewers…. and post it
    on his twitter account!!!!!!!

8th run was Golding slamming a HR.

Left and Center fielders didn’t even move when Goldy hit it.

They heard the crack of the bat…. and knew!!!!!

Thanks rats, goldy was big-time today. I think overall you have to give goldy the Cardinals mvp far as non pitchers go. Arenado may end up with better numbers but not by much and I just think goldy deserves it. You could say oneil but that would be more cause it wasn’t expected. I figured oneil would do well this year but not thirty home run well.

Nice come back, been busy at work and checked when we were down 5-1 and was like go figure the last pitcher we would think would end the streak was out best of the year…but great job by the pen and the offense coming back for the win!

On a sour note…….O’Neill was 0-5 today with three strikeouts.

This afternoon game means I’ll watch the Nationals/Reds game tonight. Then after that probably watch an episode of Perry Mason before me and Whitey Herdog hit the hay.

As crazy it sounds this team is starting to have that 2011 feel to it. Struggle all year, make a few under the radar moves, then get red hot at the end of the year.

In 2011 we picked up Edwin Jackson, Marc Rzepczynski, Octavio Dotel ,and Rafael Furcal and took off.
This year it is LeBlanc, Lester, Happ, McFarland, and Garcia.

None of the names are really blockbusters but they sure did the trick. I don’t know if this year will end like 2011, that would be a tall order, but the fact that it is even remotely possible is amazing. Baseball can be a crazy game sometimes.

Yep Gscotar you just never know.Something about a fat lady singing . Waino was looking worried in the dugout. Don’t do that we’re gonna need him again soon. Great win, everybody contributing and nobody flaking out.Spotted ’em 4 runs in the first and still tied and won it from behind. Go Cardinals!
